    I. Pre-reading:
    1.Vocabulary: T elicits new words from ss.
    - hard (adj - adv ) ( antonym : lazy ) : Chăm chỉ, vất vả
    - during ( prep of time ) ( translation) : Suốt , trong suốt
    - few ( adj) ( synonym : not many ) : Ít
    - Let Ss copy down.

    *Set the scene: Shows thet picture and asks:
    - Who are they ?
    Hoa is talking to her uncle about a student’s work. Now we will read a dialogue about them.
    2.True/ False Statements:
    - Give four statements. Ask ss to keep their books closed and read the statements and guess which is true and which is false.
    1. Hoa is usually late for school.
    2. It takes Hoa 2 hours to do her homework.
    3. Her summer vocation is in July.
    4. Hoa will help her Mom and Dad during the vocation.
    - Give feedback.
    II. While - reading :

    - Before reading , ask ss to listen to the tape once.
    - Ask ss to read the dialogue silently, then check their guesses
